The San Diego Bay Watersheds Common Grounds Project was created to incorporate data from water quality monitoring programs and integrate this data on a watershed level using a web-based interactive application to serve as a broad communication, education and decision-making tool; and to further develop the region's capacity to understand and assess processes affecting our water resources.

CITY OF SAN DIEGO population reaches 1,223,400. San Diego County population is 2,813,833.

2006 - ?

IN THE YEARS AHEAD, San Diegans must meet the challenges brought about by recent rapid growth and change. How effectively the city faces those challenges will determine whether San Diego becomes just another "City Colossal," or maintains its image as the "City Beautiful." San Diego's ability to keep its vision of paradise alive for future generations to enjoy will depend on the vision of this generation and how well we balance continued growth with preservation of that special quality of life San Diegans have come to identify as their "Vision of Paradise."
